No matter which HR system you use, there are flexible solutions for transferring employee data to Brilliant. This means you can build on your existing systems and technical infrastructure without being locked into a specific vendor or integration solution.
Multiple Ways to Integrate with Brilliant
We offer several integration options depending on your needs and circumstances:
Integration via Twine
Through Twine, you can connect Brilliant to over 30 different systems containing employee data, including HR and payroll systems. This makes it possible to automate the transfer of employee and organizational data without manual intervention. See which systems are supported via Twine here.
Direct integration via API
For systems where direct integration is possible, we offer API connections that enable real-time synchronization of employee data, for example with HaileyHR.
Automated file transfer
We can also receive data through scheduled file transfers via SFTP. This provides a stable and automated solution for systems such as Workday and Personio.
Manual import
For organizations that prefer to handle the transfer themselves, there is also the option to import and update employee data via CSV and Excel files.
How the integration works
Brilliant Engage needs up-to-date information about which employees are in the organization, which units they belong to, and who their manager is. This ensures that the right people receive the survey and that the results are presented at the correct organizational level.
With an integration, information can be transferred from your existing systems to Brilliant, keeping employee lists, organizational structure, and reporting relationships up to date.
You continue to work in your HR system as usual, while the information is transferred to Brilliant according to the integration setup you’ve chosen.
The information that can be transferred depends on what data is available in your source system. For example, if manager relationships or department affiliation are missing, this information must be added.

Twine supports a range of systems that contain employee data, including HR systems, payroll systems, and systems for scheduling, time tracking, and access controls.
HR systems: Hailey HR, Heartpace, HiBob, Simployer One, Huma HR, Kontek HRM, BambooHR, Aboard, Personio, Evity, Talentech, and Flex HRM.
Payroll systems: Agda PS, Agda PS Export API, HogiaLön Plus, Hogia OpenHR, Hogia OpenHR Lön, Payzlip, Kontek Lön, Kleer, Flex HRM Payroll, Fortnox, Visma Net Payroll, and Finago Payday (24SevenOffice).
Scheduling, time tracking, and access control systems: Quinyx , Medvind, Timeplan, Timerecorder, Smartdok, Skovik, and Microsoft Entra ID.
