Today we launched the award Powered by People to highlight and encourage companies that take their employee relations seriously. The award is based entirely on data from companies’ employee surveys, making employees’ real perceptions the judge, rather than outside evaluators or subjective judgments.
In today’s fast moving and digital society employees are a company’s greatest asset. Engaged employees and strong leadership that leads the company towards their strategic goals are listed as keys to success by business leaders across the world. Corporate growth is hampered by the lack of right skills and the ability to attract and retain the best employees, rather than weak market demand. The importance of a strong corporate culture and engaged employees has never been greater.

This year’s finalists in the three categories are:
- The greatest change journey: Volvofinans Bank AB, Munters and Aditro.
- The best construction and manufacturing company: Preem, Stora Enso and Munters.
- The best service company: Vasakronan, Academic Work and KICKS.
The winners will be announced at an inspirational event at Vasateatern in Stockholm on May 3, with Employer Branding expert Anna Dyhre as conference moderator.
