In the Powered by People – Employee Experience Award, which took place yesterday at Berns in Stockholm, we praised our customers who have succeeded exceptionally well in creating a strong employee commitment in their organization. This year, Bonava, Academic Work and Consafe Logistics are the winners in each category. We are incredibly happy and proud to be able to cooperate with organizations that have understood the importance of working actively to create the right conditions for a good work climate.
More and more companies understand that people are the key to success and base their business development on insights from employee experiences. We see time and time again in our studies that companies with committed employees have higher growth or are more efficient. The winners of this year’s Employee Experience Award have understood the importance of committed employees, fought for their employee relations, challenged themselves and managed to create a successful change in their organization.
But what, concretely, is behind the success of the winners?
Greatest Change Journey – Consafe Logistics:
- The hard work of Consafe Logistics has made it possible to make a positive move in the employee survey results. In 2018, the company was working actively to strengthen the organization, and it has communicated and implemented a new strategy to put a clear focus on the business. Together with the employees, the core behaviours have also been identified which will form the basis for strengthening the internal culture. A clearer career structure with role definitions, a strengthened feedback culture and a focus on having fun at work and being proud of their expertise in logistics are just a few examples of contributing reasons for this positive movement.
Best Service Company – Academic Work:
- Academic Work has not only won this year – they stand for the third consecutive year as the winner in the category best result in the employee survey in the service and assistance industry. That’s something that talks about their perseverance, their sustainable and consistent employee strategy. The company develops its organization by constantly measuring its commitment and acting on the result, in parallel with a strong feedback culture. The majority of managers are involved, which is a result of high employee engagement.
Best Construction and Manufacturing Companies – Bonava:
- In the category best result in the employee survey in the construction and manufacturing industry, Bonava is the winner. The employees have a very high level of commitment throughout their work. The company works actively with the leadership, and the managers are to a great extent involved which plays over to the employee engagement. A connection we see at Brilliant time and time again generates results.

The data collection for the Employee Experience Award 2019 has taken place over 12 months, January-December 2018, worldwide. One hundred fifteen companies and organizations were included in the selection, and the winners are a result of the employees ‘real perceptions. The award was based on data from the companies’ employee surveys during the past year.
